Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using kloudboard (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. During sign-up you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

kloudboard is a content creation and social media management platform that provides:

  • AI-powered scriptwriting and content generation

  • Social media analytics dashboard with connections to YouTube, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

  • Team collaboration tools

  • Google Calendar integration for scheduling

  • Content planning and management features

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Pricing

kloudboard offers subscription plans as displayed on our pricing page. Prices are subject to change with notice.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

4.4 Team Members

Additional team members may be added to your account at the applicable per-seat pricing. Team member access is billed according to their assigned role tier.

5. Social Media Integrations

By connecting your social media accounts, you:

  • Authorize us to access your account data through official platform APIs

  • Agree to comply with each platform's terms of service

  • Understand that we display analytics data as provided by each platform

  • Can disconnect any account at any time from your dashboard

We are not responsible for changes to third-party API availability or data accuracy.

6. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses AI to generate content suggestions and scripts. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed before use

  • You are responsible for the final content you publish

  • AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate

  • You retain ownership of content you create using our tools

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose

  • Generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

  • Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by kloudboard and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

9. Team Collaboration

When you invite team members to your workspace, you are responsible for their actions within your account. Team members may access shared content based on their assigned permissions and role.

10. Analytics, Session Replays & Product Improvement

10.1 Product Analytics

We use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. When you create an account, we collect:

  • Pages you visit and features you use

  • Actions you take (e.g. creating projects, uploading files, connecting social accounts, inviting members, starting a subscription)

  • Technical information such as browser type, operating system, screen size, and device type

  • Performance data and errors you encounter (including JavaScript error stack traces)

10.2 Session Replays

We may record your screen interactions — including mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and on-screen content — as session replays. These recordings help us diagnose bugs, identify usability issues, and improve the Service. Session replays:

  • Do not capture passwords, credit card numbers, or other sensitive form inputs — these fields are automatically masked

  • Are stored on PostHog's EU-based servers

  • Are only accessible to authorized kloudboard team members

  • Are automatically deleted in accordance with our data retention policy

10.3 Feature Flags & A/B Tests

We use PostHog feature flags to gradually roll out new features and run A/B experiments. This means you may see different versions of a feature while we evaluate improvements. Your flag assignments are linked to your account to ensure a consistent experience.

10.4 Organization-Level Data

We group analytics and usage data by workspace to understand team-level adoption and feature usage. This data is aggregated within your workspace and is not shared with other organizations.

10.5 How It Works

All analytics data (including session replays) is sent through our own domain and stored on PostHog's EU-based servers. We only create analytics profiles for signed-in users who have accepted these Terms — anonymous visitors are not tracked. Your analytics data is linked to your account so we can provide better support and improve the features you rely on.

10.6 Consent & Opt-Out

By accepting these Terms during sign-up, you consent to the collection of analytics data, session replays, and participation in feature experiments as described above and in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of analytics, session replays, and experiments at any time by contacting us at support@kloudboard.com. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, kloudboard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that social media integrations will always be available.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold kloudboard harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.
